Pit lane bug/issue

I've had this twice now, once in Canada which I just assumed way my fault and again in France. I have video which I will link later.

Approaching the pit entry, anchor on my brakes and my speed is now 58kph. Pit limiter goes on.

I then cross the pit entry line. My steering wheel display shows that the Pit limiter has been turned off, my speed is now 62kph and the pit limiter then goes back on. 5 second penalty for speeding in the pit lane.

As this is when I have already crossed the line I have no control at that point.

G29 missing menu "Maximum Wheel Rotation" in options

Other users of G29 have a menu to set maximum wheel rotation

In my game it is not there, ther is no option for Maximum wheel rotation at all:

Becuase of this I have to change wheel sensitivity whcih leads to worse driving experience of course.
Other games like Assetto Corsa and Live For Speed work perfect. The logitech Gaming Software is installed and runs in the backgorund, showing the picture of my G29. Logitech firmware shows as up to date: 89.0.25. My PC is win10 64bit,16gb, 1080ti, all newest updates installed, 1.09 game version although it was like this from the release day.

[PC] Photo Mode unusable on PC with a wheel

No way to move the camera around effectively. Minor feature but unusable to wheel users.

We have this great input device on all PC's called a mouse that could solve this issue....

Game breaking bug, lagspikes, slowdowns. [PC]

Hi everyone,

I am experiencing a massive, nearly game breaking bug. I get a HUGE amount of lagspikes/slowdowns. In race, in time trial, event mode,...
It slows down, then speeds up and puts me into a wall. 
They happen, sometimes every 5 minutes, sometimes every 20 seconds, sometimes only every 10 minutes.
These are just at random, sometimes when doing more intensive workloads in the game. Randomly freezed and speeds up. Very, very annoying.
I have experienced multiple other bugs, too much to even begin.

You know, I and everyone on this forum payed for this game. You expect a finished product, or at least a day one patch. Something!
Very disappointing and it just ruins the first impression of codemasters and f1 games for everyone.

Specs: Ryzen 1300x (small OC, but always stable, even in other games and in aida64); GTX 1060 3gb (zotac), 8gb ram(ddr4 @2666).
Normal cpu, gpu and ram usage.

If needed, I can provide game information files and video fragments.

Platform: PC,

Please fix this, thank you.

still, the constant patching, a new 'fix' every week, and more problems. CM has to have THE WORST QC ive ever seen.
its a shame, i wanted to give the game a go ..... but NOTHING has changed & it'll be abandoned in another month with the promise of 'just wait til next year'  !!

[PC] Crashes, fps spikes, sound stutter etc

Hi all,

Since owning the game, i've not been able to complete a race without problems. During races I experience lots of  FPS drops, I cant be too specific when, it just happens at different stages during a race. Also sometimes towards the end of a race the game will freeze with whatever sound momentary repeating and then screen goes black and i'm back at the desktop. Sometimes i also have sound dropping out momentarily during game play.

Also at the start of a flash back game resumes smooth, but after 2 or 3 flashbacks race resumes with fps/stuttering and i usually end up in a wall due to no control for a brief second.

One time during a race i experienced a crackling sound that suddenly lowered in quality and seemed to be a second behind game play. All these things are present from the start of each race, however they definitely get worse towards the end of each race.


When starting the game, the first intro of the 5 red start lights stutter and sound drops. Does anyone else 2018 intro stutter sound/vision at the start?


Platform is steam.

Game version 1.05

Any game mode (except online.. have not even tried it yet)

I get no error message.

I use Xbox one game pad.

Don't have a video to show you, but can be arrange if i have to (at great inconvenience) 

Nvidea graphic drivers are up to date.

My Pc is a Razer Blade 15 1070 maxQ with 16gb ram 144hz.. Win 10.

No undervolting or overclocking software is being used.

Artificial intelligence of bots blocking fast turns

Please Codemasters. We are already in 2018 and the Bots are still dumb like "top gear", every fast lap in qualifying or training, there is a bot coming out of the pits and going towards the fast line, hindering the fast lap, fix it.

AI stuck in pit lane

  • A short description of the problem: Upon playing career mode, I came across a williams being stuck perpendicular to the pit lane. He was stuck in between the garage and the team analysis area, reversing and going forward but not being able to turn back onto the pit lane. 
  • Platform you’re on (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Steam): PC
  • Game Version (Shown on the Start screen in the bottom left hand corner): 1.04
  • Game Mode, including if it was Single Player or Multiplayer (Time Trial, Career, Grand Prix, Custom Game etc): Career
  • If in Multiplayer, how many players and how many AI?: -
  • What happened in the lead up to the problem?: Normal practice programs, did practice programs and started seeing yellow flags on main straight.
  • If you get an error message, the exact wording of the error message you're receiving: (No Error)
  • Any accessories you are using (wheel, pad, etc): Wheel (Is the Xbox 360 Steering Wheel not compatible for force feedback? I don't feel any)
  • If you have any videos or screenshots, please share them. If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears: No i did not take a screenshot, although this happened on 2 occasions which led me to quit career mode each time as I did not want to play with a bug.

Not receiving reward

In the workstation in emails jeff mentioned that if i lapped the field he'd buy me a pizza.. So i lowered the ai difficulty to 10, lapped the field but im yet to receive pizza. 
Will i be getting the pizza in the next patch???

j'ai installé f1 2016 sur ma xbox one, mais en course rapide le course de monaco ne fonctionne pas, le jeu beug et il se e bloque  quelques secondes après le départ.

Massive amount of frame drops on pc

when i bought the game early september there was frame drops but now this is just insane, i took about a 2 week break from the game due to new games coming out, returned to f1 today and no matter what settings i use i get multiple frame drops per lap and they last much longer now

i have a ryzen 7 1700 gtx 1060 3gb and 8gb of ram, i can play in 90 fps on any track and in any weather condition in high/ultra high settings

Bugs, Issues & Problems with: [TT] [Multiplayer] [Career] [xbox one] [1.07]

This is my second technical assistant / bug report post regarding TT's. I was careful to follow the instructions to increase my chances of a reply or a suggestion or solution. However, no such luck. So, here is another with the hope someone can be bother to read and address these issues.

Time Trials:
My TT times on Australia, Spain and Austria are incorrect and are showing as a different gamer-tag to mine. Do you know how to fix this?. The steps taken so far: deleted game data - re-synced and still same issue. Block those gamer-tags - no difference. Driven several faster laps - didn't register new times. Re-installed game - no change. TT's are big part of this game for me, I am not personally fussed about career but TT and multiplayer are essential elements. It would be nice if they worked correctly. 

Multiplayer:
Loss of names, difficulties connecting to a ranked lobby (5 laps and 25%), frame rate drop.

Career:
A variety of issues such as: race strategy on second lap becomes invalid for no reason, unrealistic lap times from AI etc etc etc...

Whilst I love F1 games this is becoming tedious and less and less fun. What were you guys thinking when you released this version? Its not like its your first attempt at an F1 game.

The biggest joke though is 8 out of the 10 fastest laps (at time of post) on Baku are with ABS. This makes a mockery of your esports drivers and those of us who practice to be able to drive these cars with assists off. Since when are players rewarded for having less skill??? 

Other than these and all of the other issues posted by others the game is great!

Please tell me how to fix my TT times.....

Game crashes when continuing career mode [Xbox][Career]

So I put more than 15 hours in the game and now I am in Britain.
I made a mid session save, and wanted to retry the practice programme (which is bugged since game launch but I forgot it, and thought that it would work if it is in a finished released game), and as always it crashed me to the homescreen.
since this, everytime I want to continue my career, the game crashes to the homescreen. It starts loading, I can use the options menu, and the pictures of the track appear. Then the screen goes blank with the “Loading” sign in the corner, and exits.
xbox one x, the latest game version. I can do everything else in the game besides this.
If I have to start my career again from the beginning, I will not buy any of your games ever, that is for sure, my time is more
precious for me than that.
the funny thing is that I found a thread about this exact same issue for last year’s game!!! I seriously cannot beleive that you didnt patch this since that...

I restarted my xbox several times, uninstalled then reinstalled the game, uninstalled then reinstalled my saved games, and the game version is 1.07.

PC - Poor Grandstand Roof Render In Heavy Rain - F1 2018

Problem
In the rain at Silverstone, I noticed some really bad rendering on the grandstand roofs throughout the track. I didn't notice this on any of the previous 9 tracks, so presume it was either (a) a silverstone issue or (b) a heavy rain issue.

Intro bug

Ps4 player here. Ever since version 1.07 has been brought in the career pre-race intro's with Crofty and Davidson has been reduced significantly. 
Crofty does the lap analysis as usual... but then before he cuts to Davidson and they show the grid cut scenes it completely misses that out and shows you the grid positions of the drivers.

Obviously has no impact on the racing but I quite liked Davidson talking about previous races or the current title race etc

F1 2018 - Race Stats Not Saving - Will Super License Eventually Be Reset?

I think most of us already know that the race stats are not saving, the Wins, Podiums etc get reset after exiting the game. But to fix this bug, will everyone's Super License (Rank, Safety Rating, Level) eventually have to be reset? (Like last year where the Levels were all reset?) Or are the stats calculating in the background but just not showing? Because the Milestones still appear to be working. I'm sure no one wants to spend hours and days on the game only to have the progress reset to zero.

New Update has Jeff (Engineer) ridiculously loud (PS4)

I tried to see if this was already posted but I couldn't find anything. It use to be normal until this latest patch, when my engineer talks it's like 2-3x louder than the entire game and engine. I'm essentially getting screamed at. I didn't touch any settings after the update. I looked at the volume and tried to change it but nothing worked. I went and watched my stream on twitch and his voice is completely missing all together. It's silent but the subtitles and the rest of the sound is there? Not sure what to do or how to even show this problem to you guys. I restarted my console and router just to test it and it still happened.

Hi all,
on PS4 Platform, version 1.07, in all tracks, if you start a time trial session with the ghost assigned by default from the game all things are ok.
If you select another player like ghost (no difference if it is from global or friends leaderbord) 99% of times when you go on flyin lap you don't see the name of the player that is ghost on the top left of the screen and on top of the ghost car during the laps...

Can u check please?

[PC] Low Frame rate in the menus and sometimes in race.

French gamer on PC sorry in advance for the poor vocabulary
I have low FPS (10 fps) when I am in the menus, on the grid and in the interviews.
THe game runs at 60-70 fps all the time, but when I go back to the garage to changes the set up I have a lot of lags an it's very difficult to navigate between the differents options.
I need to do ALT+Tab to go back to the desktop and once again to return in the game and the FPS grow up to 60 FPS.
Sometimes in race. Need to pause, ALT + Tab and the FPS recovered .

I'm not alone in this casee, friends with bigger PC (1070 GTX and I7 8700) have a lot frame rate dropping down.
