Just had Steam update me to patch 1.14, and now my game crashes to desktop every time I try to load in Circuit of the Americas, regardless of the game mode I use. TT, GP mode, both the same crash. Have you broken the game?

PS4 controller steering glitch/bug

I have been, for a several weeks, been experiencing a problem where I can't steer properly using my left analog stick on the PS4.
The problem is as such: Say there is a left handed 90 degree corner. I turn the stick to the left, the driver does not turn the wheel even halfway there, sometimes he'll turn it half way, sometimes a bit more, all the while he's spasming/twitching to the proper steering angle. He does not keep it held there properly. This problem alternates. Sometimes it will occur for right handers, other times for left handers.
I then go to the Controls and settings menu page, and I go to the settings page where the sensitivity, deadzones, etc are listed, and there I turn the analog stick to the left, as usual, and the game shows me it's picking up only 70-75% of that input, but 100% on the right. When I try again, this time it will pick up 70-75% on the right but the left is fine.
Keep in mind, I'm putting the stick at a 90 degree angle.
This spasming/twitching/call it whatever you like, is literally making the game unplayable. I can't drive in Brazil. Right now, it's happening for left handers, so Brazil becomes unplayable. Just recently, I did Hockenheim where the hairpin was undrivable because I got the same problem except when turning right for the hairpin.
I'd like to know if this is a controller problem or the game's problem. I'd appreciate some sort of answer, so that I do whatever I can.

Can't join 5 lap ranked - Error Code NM14

I am having an issue with game played on PC/Steam, version 1.14.
I can not seem to join 5 laps ranked for 3 days already, which is when I've bought the game (it works fine in 25%). When searching for a session, one is located pretty fast, then i can not join the session with information 'session no longer exists'. Subsequent attempts will show the error on race length screen, which states "Error Code NM14"
I have fairly quick internet connection that does not show any issues in other online games (speedtest from this moment, when 5 laps ranked isn't working is ~760/630 Mbps):

I can not find any information regarding this error code. Could someone from Codemasters team chime in and help me understand what may be happening? Renault career 85 - 90% difficultly
Racing a career race in USA last night in my Renault. 2 cars have a major accident but no SC, it was on my lap to pit so as i came in i hit thepit wall (was running 3rd about 10 sec behind dan and lewis). Used a flashback and what do you know they called a SC. At this stage im thinking "beauty, dan and Lewis are past the pit entry and im pitting". I knew that i could pit, rejoin the que and they would pit next lap leaving me in front... All this happens the way i suspect BUT, as they peel off from the SC into pit lane they both get DQ'd instantly?????

Pit Limitor problem?
So I recently started my career mode back up after patch 1.14 was released and I was on the last race at Abu Dhabi. I started practice and started the track acclimation program and chose to drive out like I ALWAYS do. When I was released from the box my car was in first gear when it would normally be in second. I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure it continues thru qualifying and can't remember the race...When you return to the pit lane and cross the speed limit line it stays in second gear for that...haven't tried putting it into 1st to see if it upshifts into 2nd when the Limitor kicks on...I've played F1 2013, F1 2017, and now F1 2018 and started watching the live races this season and don't think it's normal to be in 1st gear as you leave the pit lane.
I've now started the next season and at Australia it's doing the same thing which is making it a little tricky to get the power down at the end of the pit lane. Once I get to quali and the race I'll edit the post to give more details about any affects on those sessions.
I understand this isn't a huge problem but if Codies didn't intend for this to happen (as nothing is mentioned in the patch notes about it) then that must mean one fix may have broken another part of the game (newsflash haha sorry had to)

More flexibility when making custom lobbies/local Grand Prix.
As a league racer I find myself in practice lobbies or running local practice Grand Prixs often. One issue we have is the lack of flexibility in what they can do.
The most frustrating example that we run into often is that the only way to practice with the equal performance car setting is by creating lobbies. That means we can't prepare in the precise car without planning with others, which is where local grand prix normally comes in handy, but it also can't select equal performance. It also means if we just want to practice one session like qualifying, then we have to complete qualifying, leave the session, and start it over again and again until we've gotten a decent amount of practice time.
Perhaps adding something like a practice mode in the settings of lobby and local Grand Prix creation would help. In practice mode it could let you disable sessions altogether, and adjust time for sessions past their typical length. This could also allow for things like endurance races given it would make it possible to set race length in time as opposed to laps.

F1 2018 no car audio glitch
On lap 10 of my league race on the hangar straight (which i was leading after starting on pole) my car audio cuts out, however on lap 11 at stowe i can still hear jeff This ruined my race as i kept missing gear shifts and i spun a couple of times The settings for the race are as followed : classic cars C1 at Britain short short qualifying and 100% race video : ![image]()

Flashbacks still causing Safety Car deployment
Twice now I have had a race ruined by a safety car being deployed after a flashback when there is absolutely no need for it to be deployed. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it is impossible to revert as using the flashback again just leads to it being deployed.
This happened twice on Baku in a 100% race in career when I was leading in a Ferrari (if that's of any use). I am on 1.14 so this issue should have been fixed in the 1.13 update. I will record future races to catch it if it happens again and post the video.

Engine sounds/bouncing off limiter
On Xbox. since patch 1.14 the engine sounds are awful, and it sounds as though the revs are constantly bouncing off the limiter. Its causing me to be 2-3 seconds a lap slower on whatever game mode I choose. For example losing 2 seconds on the back straight at Canada to my personal best in time trial mode! I can’t complete any of the practice programmes as a result even though I’ve significantly lowered the difficulty.

Right after the start coming to T1 the wheel just became 'unresponsive' i didn't know what is going on but i realized
that i have to turn the wheel 180 degrees to achieve 90 in the game. I had to turn off and on the wheel that it started to operate
as it should. Maybe it helps to note that I was DSQed on the formation lap for no reason.

Career Mode crash to desktop
I started a career on F1 2018 when in Singapore I finished the qualifyings, and the game was loading the interviews it crashed.
So I tried to restart the game, the PC and I also reinstalled the game, but nothing was changed.
Then I restarted a new career mode, I did the first season without any problems, during the second one, again in Singapore, again when I finished the qualifyings it crashed.
I already tried to find some answers on the Internet, but nothing changes.
Please help me to find a solution.

Gear change bug on PS4 Pro with Fanatec CSL elite wheelbase
Whilst playing any mode whether it be time trial, career or single race I have discovered a bug whereby when you pull the paddle on the wheel the shift will not register and will either mean you hit the limiter, or the gear will change either up or down 2 gears. So for example accelerating out of Turn 6 at Melbourne every lap no matter what car I use the car will not change up from 5th causing it to hit the limiter slowing you down, then eventually the gear will change up to 7th skipping 6th. The same applied to the hairpin in Japan where I go down to 3rd gear, but the gear shifts do not register and you end up missing your apex and going off in some cases.
This bug has caused me to lose 3 races now and destroyed many a good lap. I have noticed that it happens on certain corners intermittently also on the upshift and also going into some corners where you downshift. I will make a video of this occurring and upload it shortly.
I am using a Fanatec CSL Elite wheelbase with a McLaren GT3 rim. In the settings menu I select the McLaren rim and edit the settings to allow for ERS deployment and brake bias etc. I have reset the settings and save file and uninstalled the game V1.04 and reinstalled but still no luck. This makes the game pretty much unplayable at this point for me. Strangely the game worked fine yesterday when I first installed it, so I am unsure as to why this has now happened?

1.14 impossible AI sector/laptime bug still exists!
Thought the 1.14 patch solved this issue but have seen cars going way too fast when using the return to garage and flying lap features...
While doing Bahrain career mode I saw Sainz get P2 in practice due to a very fast/impossible first sector...
Anyone else still seen this issue?

Multiplayer Mode Tyre Selection doesnt work
Hi Faya,
Don't know that is this a known issue but it is very annoying.
Multiplayer unranked league race, before starting the Short Qualify, as you know we select tyre compounds. There are 3 options, softer selection, medium selection and the harder one.
Last race in Baku I've selected the harder one which is US,US,SS,S. But when the Short qualify starts it gave me the medium one which is US,US,US,SS.
I have experienced this issue more than 2-3 times before. It always gives you the medium one whatever you choose.
Please take a look at it.

[PS4] F1 2018 Friends leaderboard TT data missing
Hello,
As title suggests, on time trial I can't see any of my friends names/times, been like this for the past few weeks, assumed it was a bug that would be ironed out but none of my friends have the same issue. I could previously see all their times. Have I selected a strange setting or is there any advice on fixing this one?

G29 Stop working after installing patch 1.14
Hello everyone, after installing the patch 1.14 my g29 has stopped working, I tried to uninstall the game and reinstall it, nothing, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers of the steering wheel and nothing, I would like explanations, because it is not possible that on f1 2017 it works me and on 2018 no.
